50,000 Comments
Passive Guy missed a blog milepost a week or two ago.
The Passive Voice has received over 50,000 comments since it opened its virtual doors.
PG has often said that the best part of TPV is the comments. Some include conclusions reached from years of experience, others are brilliant insights into the current world of authors. Still others bring to a primarily American audience the insights from those living in a non-American world. PG could go on, but hopes you already appreciate how good the comments are.
This is post number 4397. Just yesterday, PG received some nice compliments about how valuable TPV is to many authors.
With fewer than 5,000 posts and over 50,000 comments, guess who provides the most value?

I’m sure there would be, but I don’t think WordPress numbers comments and I’m not inclined to count backwards. We’re almost 1,000 over 50,000.
Well, I agree the comments here are terrific. I learn alot! And among the best comments are those you leave, PG! I love reading your commentary.
And you deserve oodles of credit for creating such an informative, provocative, cutting edge blog, that is a natural draw for intelligent, free-thinking folks. I can’t even imagine a day now without reading your selection of articles and having a fascinating discussion about them here.

Congratulations PG, and thanks. Same goes to the regular commentators. The blog updates is one of my favourite emails in the mornings (I’m in New Zealand) and forms part of my daily routine. I’ve been following the blog for about a year now. It’s my doorway to the goings-on in the publishing industry.
