I love Donald Westlake (as opposed to Richard Stark).
What a gem of a throwback!
Wonderful! I love both Donald Westlake and Richard Stark. Westlake’s novel “The Axe” is one of my favourites. I highly recommend it if you like your humour black!
I discovered DW through “The Axe” (or is it Ax?) about a year ago and I’ve been telling a lot of people about it. Love the social commentary, and it’s as relevant now as it was when it was written.
I remember reading a couple of Westlake novels, but had never heard of Richard Stark before watching this.
Same evening however, the trailer for the next Statham movie kept rolling on the TV: Parker. By Richard Stark.
