Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear. Except a creature be part coward, it is not a compliment to say it is brave.
Courage is the ability to act in the presence of fear.
Cowardliness is the unwillingness to act knowing the width and breath of a danger.

It is not brave to do something you’re not afraid of. Courage is being terrified and following through anyway.
