   Also the reader (if your art is writing). When a writer writes that desirable “C” (not an “O” and not a parenthesis), the reader fills in the rest with his or her own history, experience, and attitudes.

   Yeah, but God does kinda expect you to have learned how to use a paintbrush (or comma in writing terms)

   IMHO, not actually knowing God personally. For all I know the truest art might be created by toddlers finger painting. I’ll have to ask as I pass through on my way to the down escalator.
