Love is not a state

29 November 2012

Judith Butler

    LOL…You might fink dis bro…

As someone who came to Georgia at 46 years of age and has fallen on his knees to be thankful that he found a place on the earth that suits him down to the ground…….

Love is the state of Georgia, my peach state home:)

  2. Love this quote. Not easy – had to think and feel my way through this, and let it sink into me – but good.

  3. …those who try to see one another with their own faulty vision.

Lovely! And true. We always see the other through the lens of our own history. And I suppose Butler’s word exchange covers the idea that love, if it be love, is embodied in choices and deeds. I’m a big fan of “faith without works is dead” when it comes to love.
