  1. My first reaction is to wonder how much of the political ranting that apparently marred the book for many readers (based on customer reviews on Amazon) will make it into the series.

  2. Always good to hear about an author doing something like this. Authors have been under-utilized in this way, I think.

As for me, I’ll stay away. Stephen King scares the $%^$%# out of me.

  3. I’m both excited and apprehensive. Really good book, relatively disappointing ending. And, as Karig pointed out, King’s politics were prevalent (then again, they always are). That’s not to say that I think he was inaccurate, only that I don’t know how well it would play with CBS’ demographic if kept intact.

    I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Side note: I saw King do a reading of “Under the Dome” when he was on tour promoting it. Total geek thrill.

  4. I loved UNDER THE DOME, so I’m glad to hear this. It will make (if done right) perfect episodic TV.
