  1. This makes me laugh. Knew him. Shaking head. Umbie .. well, let me put it this way… narrative and being literally imbedded with the patters of it as most humans are, is as old as the fire around which humans gathered and told stories, all across the earth wherever there were humans who could draw, gesture, sign or speak.

    Stories ARE detective novels; will he wont he, did she didnt she, who did x and when, why are they so p and q, where did the treasured whatever go.

    I mean, well, common sense need not be made into any more. Any more than a good horse needs a doily on its head to run fast.
