When I saw the trailer I was deeply disturbed. I kept saying, “No, no, no…”
I need to finally read the series. It is sitting on the desk behind me as I type this. After watching the trailer, I’m not sure that I want to turn around and look to see what is there.
It is only three years since the book came out.
Wiki – Annihilation (film)
Natalie Portman is in it, and that means more likely than not, I will see the film. But based solely on this teaser, I would not see this film. The teaser is disjointed, chaotic, and as far as I can see, sets up no conflict. Fail.
I’ve watched the trailer fullscreen, many times, sometimes frame by frame. Deeply disturbing.
