PG: Is this the PBS program? I’m just getting a “not available due to rights restrictions” message here in the UK and I’ve not got a VPN on my tablet to allow me to spoof my location.
Mike – It is a PBS program.
I wasn’t aware that PBS used rights restrictions outside the US, particularly in the UK. PBS stations here would be off the air without access to BBC programs.
Sorry for your disappointment, but happy to know how to use a VPN to deal with issues like this.
PBS has its own cable channel here plus it sells programs to British broadcasters so it must be restricting rights to protect sales. Not really different from the BBC placing geographic limitations on the IPlayer to protect its sales to the likes of PBS.
