PG has returned after a quick trip with Mrs. PG to visit Mrs. PG’s sister, Beth, who is suffering from early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
It was a difficult trip for both of us, but we’re glad we made the visit. It is likely the last time we will see Beth alive.
PG is happy to be back at the controls of that complex and meticulously-honed system that is The Passive Voice.
Yay for a safe trip. *hugs* on Beth’s early decline.
I prayed for a solution to dementia when it was taking my grandmother, and now that it has my mother in its grip, but the medical profession isn’t moving fast enough. It took my mother-in-law, too.
So sorry you are having to face it in the family as well.
Your family has had more than its share of sadness lately, PG. Here’s hoping that trend reverses fast, headed toward happiness.
Thanks for the kind words, all.
Hugs to both you and Mrs PG. 🙁
Early onset Alzheimers is a cruel fate.
Many hugs to the PG family!
My heart to you and Mrs. PG. You two have had a tough year or so. May it all be blessings and happies for you from now on.
