It takes two to tango and after the BPHs went to Agency Part Deux Apple and Google lost most of their interest in ebooks. Hard to fault them when their primary partners don’t want the ebook market to grow.

NY City told the Strand to pound sand, and all the Strand was asking was to be left alone. Now they can wait six weeks for approval to replace broken windows or some such nonsense.
On that basis, I think Book Culture is going to have a tough row to hoe.
