When I think about country music and working men, I always think first about Aaron Tipon singing Working Man’s PhD. I saw him perform it live, while climbing a flag pole, around 1994 – and I checked on wikipedia, and yes, he did some manual labor (grew up on a farm, worked as a pipe fitter)

Well, I have to say none of those young women look like they ever did a hard day’s work in their lives. Now whatever their backgrounds, Willie, Merle, and JC look like they at least know what physical work is.
