  1. Generated – or exchanged? There’s a big difference.

If Netflix has a new hit show, then one thing was generated only to count thousands of times in the ‘hours watched’ line.

And it’s nice to know Amazon ‘made money’, but how many sales was there in that minute.

Too much like that ad stating that U.S. kids miss X million days from school each year – but don’t mention how many millions of kids that is.

(And how many of those spam emails are LinkedIn and Facebook telling you you need to log in to see what has changed since your last visit? 😉 )

Lies, dang lies and that last one starts with an ‘S’ …

    • “Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?”

“What was that middle part, again?”

      • Heh, one of my characters has three ways of falsifying the ‘truth’ as it’s called.

        The outright lie of course.

The half truth, where what he told you wasn’t anywhere near as important than what he didn’t.

And the third method is to actually tell the whole truth, but in such a way those told know he has to be lying to them! 😉

    • They were under ‘spam’ emails sent saying you’re missing what your friends are saying. 😉
