Frida Kahlo was an amazing painter from Mexico, and is a woman who had a very difficult life doing it. She was not only alone a lot, but in fairly constant pain. Watch the movie Salma Hayek starred in for an easy – and reasonably accurate – biography. She and her spouse, Diego Rivera, have adjoining museums in Coyoacan, Mexico City.
