  1. A little surprised to see this one here… though I have it in my walking playlist. The enumeration of the consequences of spousal abuse didn’t seem to fit with the other paeans to labor and Labor.

It’s hard to say I *like* Gretchen Peters lyrics, but I listen to it a lot, so thanks for including it.

    Maybe just me.

  2. I get the message “The uploader has not made this video available in your country”, which is a bit odd as a quick search on YouTube for Martina McBride quickly brought up many versions of this song (including the original album track), though not the original video. I’ve never understand why the companies bother with these geo-restrictions.

    • Stupidity. Ignorance.
CBS thinks Puerto Rico isn’t part of the US so they block their streaming servuces from 3.5M potential customers while everybody from Netflix to HBOMAX to Peacock happily cashes in the subscription money. Then again, only Apple has less paying streaming customers than CBS, STAR TREK not withstanding. (As is, San Juan probably has more english speakers than Miami. 😉 )

Other websites see a PR ip address and automatically send the user to their mexican site, blythely ignoring that PR doesn’t use mexican currency, so no sale can ensue. Others get the sale. Thing is, you have to do *extra* work to lose those sales. (Just ask BEST BUY.)

Stupidity and ignorance is rampant on the fringes of the internet.
