Kindle Unlimited Per-Page Rate Jumped in November 2019

The Kindle Unlimited funding pool increased by one hundred thousand dollars in November 2019, to $26.1 million, from $26 million in October 2019.

At the same time the per-page rate royalty jumped to d $0.004925, from $0.0046763  in October.

  1. Unless my unsteady Scrooge humbug eyes aren’t focusing, there was a similar jump in September. Also, October and December 2018 are about the same. In general, the number sequence looks to me like a regression to a mean around .0045. If I were making business decisions based on these numbers alone, I’d predict flat approximating to $0.0045.
