Thanks for this, PG. Some of my favorites, though I was unaware of the William Shatner version.
What a shame that Louisa May Alcott’s message fiction wasn’t considered adequate on its own, so that in 2019 we need to have it amplified by extraneous locations and extraneous scenes because someone thinks they know better, beyond the mere matter of expansion to suit a different medium.
