Well, I do get a ‘Load More’ link at the bottom of the home page, but when I click on it, it doesn’t actually load anything.
Ah. Noticed that too – and only on the first page. Scrolling works the same as before, though – very slight pause at the end of each page.
I just saw the same link, Tom. When I hit the reload button, I could scroll normally.
Thinking on it… PG, this could be one of those intractable problems. Either smooth and fast scrolling over large chunks of the site, with a delay (shorter or longer at the end of each chunk, dependent on factors outside of your control); or more or less jerky scrolling as smaller chunks are pushed through the pipeline.
Might be a good place for an informal mini-poll – how many visitors really go further back than the home page on a regular basis? I know that I don’t – with the previous theme, I clicked on the next page link perhaps once in twenty or so visits. Usually only when off-line life had me going through a few days worth of posts at once.
I can see the “Load More” link but clicking on it does nothing in Firefox.
I’ll do some more looking, M. Sorry.
Indeed, load more does not, for me (firefox mobile)
What a weird problem for it to have.
