Old Books – Book Candle

From Frostbeard Studio via Etsy:

We love the smell of old books! But not the rotten, mildewy kind – the sweet, papery sort. This soft, comforting scent makes you want to curl up in your favorite reading chair and leaf through stacks of worn, well-loved stories. Vanilla overtones transform into a lovely, complex aroma when melted.

Scents: Paper, Dust, Vanilla and a hint of Fresh Grass

  1. Personally, I think these candles are not all that great (I was underwhelmed by longevity, throw and scent). The reviews on Amazon seem to be mixed – either glowing five stars or people who had a similar experience to mine. While I think the idea is cute, it doesn’t matter how clever your brand or how precious your packaging is if the candle is inferior and doesn’t smell very good. I also think it’s on the expensive side for it’s size.
