  1. Man…if I knew a man thought of me that way, my legs would clamp together so tight they might just fuse into a mermaid tail, no matter *how* intelligent he was, or how madly and eloquently he professed his love.

    OTOH, I’ve done my share of suffering over pretty men who, in retrospect, probably weren’t much smarter or more significant than bacilli…
