  1. I must be way ahead of the curve. I have three (!) USB cables that work. Two of ’em I can see right now. I would have to rummage around to find the third. Oh, there it is!

I think my wife may have the cable that came with my phone. Good riddance to it. I have better. She bought me the phone anyway, so if she wants the cable, it’s hers.

  2. I’d give a fair amount right now for a USB to USB cable. I found everything else but that and since the computer in question refuses to acknowledge the router*, I need a wire connection. But no wire is currently available in the house…

*The ISP has been mucking around with things. In addition to taking both land-line and internet away for hours at a time, the last episode messed up the router as well. Every computer in the place has trouble staying with the router, not just the computer that is not talking to the printer.

  3. I picked up a pair of induction chargers for our phones. They charge faster than any USB cable, totally worth the 29.99.

  4. My experience:

    (1) all USB cables are too short save for those Amazon used to supply with Kindle readers and

    (2) any new device I buy, with the exception of Kindles, comes with a type C socket and a too short cable so I can’t even use one of my spare Kindle cables,

but Amazon will sell you nice long type C cables.
