And after you write it down, you hope that a sequel doesn’t ambush you. “What do you mean you won’t take ‘Happily ever after’ and leave me alone?!? Shoo!”

But then it never looks as good as it sounded in your head, so it feels like you spend the rest of your life editing the dang thing! 😉
I have a number of years before the trilogy is finished, but I wrote it, and will publish it, so that the three volumes (maybe in large print?) will be sitting on the lone shelf next to my bed in the skilled nursing section of our new retirement home – where I can pick them up and read them.
It must be written down.
