From The Book Designer:

You need a creative image for a blog post, your author media kit or other marketing materials.

If you can afford it, you grit your teeth, whip out your credit card and buy a pack of 10 from those pricey stock photo sites. Or you use a cliché stock photo from one of the many free sites.

Sure, you can create something unique at Canva. But if you’re impatient like I am, you don’t want to struggle with a site you don’t use often, especially when you’re in a hurry.

Welcome to PhotoFunia.com, my favorite, number one, five-star, go-to website for creating offbeat effects from a digital photo you already have, even if it’s just your head shot or book cover.

It’s drop-dead simple to use. Most images, also known as an effect, can be created in less than 60 seconds with no technical skills.

Am I the only one that finds this a bit scary?

    • Go look at their website. If you can move/copy your pictures from your camera to your computer you should be able to handle this.

Of course ‘ease of use’ also means few choices of ‘how’ you can use it …

MYMV and you find the toys/tools you need. 😉

  2. “But if you’re impatient like I am …”

Time is money as they say, but they also say you get what you pay for which includes effort.

Looks like they just set up some photoshop tricks to make adding a picture/text to one of their stock shots easier for people that don’t have/use it.

I agree with PG that it looks like a time sink if you start ‘looking around’ for something you might like.

I think I’ll keep playing with DAZ3D, a real time sink but you can do a (little) bit more with it. 😉

MYMV and they never guess where you got your art!
