Changes – Part 2

This content has been archived. It may no longer be accurate or relevant.

Our son’s funeral was yesterday.

It was an uplifting experience for both Mrs. PG and PG. We are well and feeling a wonderful peace about our son.

Sincere thanks to all who took the time to share their condolences with us. We very much appreciated those and the comforting words of many others.

As you might imagine, our normal lives have been placed on hold for several days. We have a great many things to catch up on, but I hope to be able to start posting again later today.

Thank you again for your kind thoughts.

  1. A status update, and so quickly, was a very pleasant surprise.

You’ve been in my thoughts, and I look forward to seeing updates, but mainly because I’m happy you’re in the mood to get back to things.

We’ll all be happy to have you back, and patiently waiting until you’re ready to be back.

  2. I just got back to the States and found your posts. I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of your son. It’s heartbreaking. Peace be with you.

  3. I’m encouraged by your positive tone and I’m sending all my love to your family. Please take whatever time you and your family need. We’ll all be here when you get back.

  4. I am so, so sorry for your loss. May his memory be a blessing to you now and always.

  5. There are no words to diminish your pain. No parent should have to bury their children.

We have had too many friends who have done just that this year alone. I cannot imagine your loss.

But please know that your family is in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.

  6. Please do what ever you need to, for however long it takes. You have given us so much of your time and efforts already. Our thoughts and love are with you and yours.

  7. So glad that you feel at peace and supported by your community. As others have said: do what feels right for you and for Mrs. PG. Let us be here for you for a time, instead of you being here for us.
