The only obvious problem is the ‘one size fits all’ nature – or will they come in sizes. This is an ad, and should show the product at its best – I kept waiting for it to fall off his finger.
They’ll most likely come with inter bands that snap in place for smaller fingers. 😉 Though if it takes being linked to a smartphone to use it away from home – why not simply make it a smartphone app and be done with it?
