They’re assuming that they’re not welcome because of their race or sex, when the reality is that they’re more likely not welcome because of their self-absorbed abrasiveness and lack of empathy.
This is one of those quotes where I’d have to know this person before I decided if this was inspirational or not, because sometimes the reason people don’t welcome you in their spaces has nothing to do with your identities and everything to do with your personality and character.
