There should also be a ‘literary critic’ edition, printed on a roll of toilet paper.
And whatever crystalline, silicon, or amebic format your books are published, they’ll have tied up your rights until Milliways.
Am I the only one who has had a few of the TPV articles just not show up?
I’m sorry, but I only buy books embedded in lime Jell-o molds.
You forgot the trained chimpanzees.
I hope that’s not the flying monkey variety.

Great, iced tea all over the keyboard…again.

Don’t forget scarves!

Out of those formats, I look forward the most to having my own mechanical raven and patronizing robot.
You might change your mind if the robot starts calling you “meatbag”. HK-47 has a lot of followers out there.
Or inferior carbon based unit?
Now you have me pining for a (probably never-to-be-developed) KOTOR3…
Same. And I’m almost positive “they” — don’t remember if it was Obsidian or Bioware — that KOTOR online is the closest we’ll get to a KOTOR3 🙁
I would settle for a remaster of 1 & 2 on console.
You can play KOTOR on android but it’s not the same.
I’d love if they released those for Wii U. I never had an X-Box, and I couldn’t ever get the PC versions to work.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is pretty much the sequel to those games, though, and I play that a lot. There are two additional HK droids (HK-51 and HK-55), and yeah, they’re pretty fun. I’d totally want one to explain books to me.
If it’s Marvin the Paranoid Android complete with Alan Rickman’s voice then YES! I want all my books like that from now on. 😉
Recited by a mechanical raven? Like Teddy Ruxpin, but for all ages.
Yes, I can see it now: in the future Alexa or the like will evolve so that you can choose the form they take, in this case a mechanical bird or a cat or something. The mechanical raven should fly around the house (like a drone) as you clean up, reciting the stories in the style of voice you like*. It could be a “smart” bird and raise its voice when you have the vacuum going.
*Remember the isometric Black Isle Studios / Bioware / Obsidian games, where you could choose to sound feisty or sultry or like Scrappy Do (“let me at ’em!”). It could work like that.
.doc .htm and .mobi for mine.
