This is *exactly* the attitude I’ve been seeing in some parts of indie publishing. So many people you’d never think would start skirting those gray areas have rationalized it all away. That’s all I’m going to say about it, but it’s been really disappointing to see.
Some are in it because they ‘have’ to write – others because they think it’s an easy way to fame and/or fortune …
The only thing that even remotely concerns them is getting caught/found out.
Too bad these are the doctors/lawyers/plumbers/car mechanics you’re trusting your life to …
