PG has had some distracting stomach issues (nothing serious) the past couple of days and has been less than a paragon of regular posting on TPV. He’s catching up with posts a bit later than usual today.
Mrs. PG wanted to visit one of the PG offspring and her family after the difficult experiences of last week, which PG agreed was a wonderful idea. There is nothing like an active and very talkative four-year-old to claim the total focus of a grandparent.
PG and Mrs. PG will be on the road again tomorrow, heading back to Casa PG, so, tonight, PG will prepare some posts to appear tomorrow, creating the amazing illusion that he’s driving a car and blogging at the same time.

An active and talkative four-year-old sounds like a fantastic reason to have an intermittent posting schedule. I hope you enjoyed the trip, and I hope the drive back is relaxing.

Uh, PG… it’s not an illusion if you tell us what you’re doing beforehand.
He’ll have me fooled because, by tomorrow, I’ll forget what he said.
Tomorrow is today already, in my time zone. So when he is posting tomorrow, I’ll think it is today, and be properly amazed.

If your stomach issues persist and you feel the need to treat them with drugs, keep in mind that anxiety is most likely a factor in your case. Rather than using a proton pump inhibitor like Nexium, Prilosec or Prevacid, try one of the older histamine blockers like Pepcid, Tagamet or Zantac.
